Ship Your Vehicle Now!

Are you moving across country and are concerned about the long drive? Consider using a vehicle transport company to ship your car, allowing you to fly directly to your new home. Auto transport services are not only affordable, they are a reliable means of getting your car safely to its destination, without adding mileage to the vehicle or the possibility of damage that could otherwise occur on a long cross country trip.

Contracting with a vehicle shipper is an easy, two-step process. A number of online agencies offer comparison quotes by various freight companies that specialize in the transport of cars, motorcycles and pleasure boats. Choosing one of these firms to ship your car involves a simple contract that includes specific pickup and drop-off times, exact locations for the loading and unloading of the vehicle, and real-time updates on the progress of the transport itself. All you need to do is locate the company that best serves your needs and your budged, and then fill in the appropriate information with the company of your choice.

Vehicle shippers are constantly moving large volumes of cars around the country, and have a comprehensive dispatch service that matches the dates required with the availability of vehicle trailers already being used along a particular route. This means that the service is very reliable and your car will not need to be reloaded at any point along the trip. Ship your car anywhere in the nation for an eye-opening low price, and have it arrive on time and on schedule at any drop-off point you wish.

Auto shippers are committed to excellent customer service because they know your vehicle is a valuable investment that must be protected. When you ship your car with an experienced auto transport service you can rest assured your vehicle is safe and will arrive on a guaranteed schedule. Contact an auto transport service or freight agent today and arrange for easy delivery of your car to any destination in the country!

Basic Auto Transport Industry Rules:

1. NEVER choose a company based only on having the lowest quote (a quote is not always the exact price in the end)

2. IGNORE companies who tell you that they "Have a driver or truck in your area" or "One spot left on the truck due to a last-minute cancellation" when you have no official order with them (these are just gimmicks to get you to call them and it is not an honest statement. Does it make sense that a broker really looked for a driver for your car already, before ever talking to you or getting your information? or that truck drivers are just standing by waiting around the corner?)

3. AVOID companies that claim to have their own trucks or say that they are "Family Owned and Operated" (Those are just ploys and if they offer "Nationwide" shipping they are ALWAYS a Broker and contracting carriers for you exactly like the next company, the key is to hire an honest one who protects your interests!)

4. AVOID companies that have "NO UPFRONT DEPOSIT REQUIRED" (NO DEPOSIT = NO CONTRACT)

HERE'S HOW THE AUTO TRANSPORT INDUSTRY WORKS:

First of all, all transport companies you get quotes from are Brokers who offer Nationwide shipping quotes. Only Brokers offer Nationwide transport because the can contract a truck driver for any route since there are thousands of carriers available throughout the country. A carrier is a truck driver and they are independent contractors who get several vehicles at a time from several different brokers at a time. You have to use a broker because they are the ones who get you contracted onto an actual truck as soon as possible. The broker has the license to use the resourceses and load boards to do this and consumers don't. So we all have to contract the actual drivers and that means if any company claims to be a Carrier but they offer to ship to all Nationwide locations then you know that they are lying and are actually licensed as a Broker as well, which means we all have the same basic process. BUT, not everyone will give you honest quotes and tell you the truth about this process and what to expect! We all use a National Load Board system to list the vehicles we have available (the orders we get from shippers like you) and Carriers use the Load Board to look at these lists to find loads to pick up. When a driver wants your load they call the broker who listed it. It is also possible that a carrier might be scheduled by us through our lists of carriers from our history/resources which we call directly to try to get our orders scheduled with a truck as well. A reliable broker will keep track of who runs what routes to help move their loads faster fyi. We can't speak for others, but that's what we do!

Second of all, since we all contract with thousands of independent drivers all over the country, the key is to hire a company who is honest and upfront with you about how we get this done. It is a good idea to always know what the process is and who is seriously trying to move your vehicle safely and timely for you because not using a reputable company who takes the time to explain things to you usually leads to frustration on the consumers part. You need a good company to take care of you through good situations or not so good situations period.

Basically, the carrier's will pull up the load boards online and start choosing what they want to pick up based on prices, locations and size of vehicles. Typically the highest paying vehicles will be chosen first, as long as the vehicles are on the route the Carrier is wanting. For example: if there is an SUV paying $700 going from L.A. to Tampa and a different one paying $1000 on the same exact route, which do you think the driver is going to schedule on his load first? And what if he only has 1 spot left? What if you are the vehicle paying only $700? Uh oh! You'll probably be waiting for the next truck to hopefully want your load.. Well, this example tells you that the highest paying vehicles typically will move faster than the lower paying ones. However, this is not always the case of course, but about 80% of the time it is. The drivers will take the lower paying loads sometimes if the locations are more convenient for him OR if the car is smaller and takes up less room on his truck so he can fit more cars on. There are many variables the drivers are looking at. So, if you are in a hurry, it's best to assume the highest paying will go first and not waste your time stressing about how long your transport is taking just over a few dollars. If price is more of your concern though and you aren't pressed for time, then trying to secure lower quotes can work sometimes, which is why we offer a "Stand-by shipping" option. For example: if a driver is sitting in L.A. trying to book one last car to fill his load to head to Houston and there is a sedan within a few miles of his current location listed on the load board offering $500 on delivery but the same exact kind of car is 120 miles away offering $650 to go from San Diego to Houston then the driver's first choice may possibly be to just take the car sitting a few miles away because its more convenient rather than driving 5hours round trip just to make another $150 more. So if you aren't in a hurry it's not a bad idea to try quotes on the lower side but we only recommend our Stand-by shipping as the lowest possible price for your route. You definitely don't want to stick with a low price for a long time, it's possible the car could never move at that price if it's just way too low no matter what. So, it's normally in your best interest to raise your offer if it's not moving after a couple weeks or so to help get it scheduled a lot sooner! Your quotes are based on the mileage, size of car, locations, etc. So you get all different quotes from everyone because there are no set prices in the industry by the drivers. We are giving you our best estimates, but with us our 'Standard Shipping' quotes are normally very accurate. We strive to impress you! Driver's prices do change from day to day based on their current load availability and circumstances such as: fuel prices, insurance costs, maintenance costs, how far out of their way they have to go and also supply and demand. But don't you like having someone on your side telling you this process and making these honest suggestions so you don't waste time or money learning it through a bad experience?? That's what we are here for! There are others out there who were not as fortunate to hear this from a company like us. Just take a look at the complaints on the review websites or the Better Business Bureau. We encourage you to make sure you choose a company who is accredited with the BBB and who has good reviews and ratings online and someone who explains this process in detail like we are doing right now with you! Pick a company who is being honest with you from the get-go, like us!

Please note: We screen the Carriers interested in your load too, just to make sure they are licensed, insured and have a good safety record with the DOT so that your vehicle is transported safely as well. This is what a Broker is licensed to do and should always be doing for you. We have a lot of experience and a good reputation for a reason!

ONE SCAM has to do with super low quotes given on purpose with no explanation like ours and they give those low quotes saying it's Standard and definitely getting your car picked up right away and they do that just to lure you in without telling you how the industry really works and then they get your deposit and then pull a "bait-and-switch" tactic on you later when the car isn't moving at that low quote. Running business that way is just dishonest, frustrating, and a waste of everyone's time and money. If your quote is just too low your car WILL NOT get picked up and you will have to pay more money to move the car in the end anyway, so it's better to choose an honest company who actually gives accurate quotes to move cars and will not waste your time. It's a fact that we are all ultimately at the mercy of the Carrier's to accept the price that we quoted you for the transport. For us, we would rather be honest and tell you how this industry works from the start, rather than tell you what you may want to hear in hopes that it all works out in the end. We want everyone prepared with the truth. We use the tools provided to us and the knowledge and experience we have and pass those values on to our customers and actually help them set up their transport with a carrier safely and timely.

The key is to be as accurate as we can be from the beginning and for you to know this process upfront so you can start off knowing what you are doing so you wont have any surprises or irritations in the long run. If the quotes are super low and they are claiming they'll pick the car up fast, that seems too good to be true, so it probably is!!!
